subject:Water in storage tanks.
Dear Pat,I have an older SJ21 so I'm not sure how yours is laid out. I had my drain hose fall off my sink which caused my flotation tanks to fill up with water. I'm not certain how much time it spent below the waterline, but the tanks got filled.
Since I had my cabin door closed for safety on a windy day I was unaware of the problem until I heard water running into the cabin from where the cables go through to the keel. And again, by that time there was a lake of water visible in the bottom of the boat. That was why I could hear the leak as it splashed in my own private lake.
Short answer, check all potential paths for water to flow.
