Spreader/shrouds

How about measure ONCE, cut TWICE.

Try cutting the spreaders from 29" to 27" & trying that first.

If you still have room on the turnbuckes, then cut the additional 2".

Last thing you want to do is find out your math or measurements were incorrect and not be able to go sailing till you get the shrouds shortened.

Cutting the spreaders is easy and inexpensive. Getting new turnbuckles put on shrouds is a lot more $$$.

Will someone measure the length vertically from the spreaders to where the shrouds are connected to the mast, so someone can do the math and quit guessing? - Jim
