subject:Rudder, rudder, who got the rudder?
This whole discussion pertaining to the rudder shape/material I have found interesting.All I know is; my flip up rudder on boat # 2441 works fine.
It appears to be constructed with a gelcoat exterior and some kind of fiberglass interior filler.( poured in ? )
Maybe, someone can explain this "lift" to me. I cannot quite see how any lift would develop, as the shape is symetrical. Unlike an airplanes which one side has a different shape then the other side.
