I have found that the keel that came with #2 is a very old style. Not suprising...but it doesn't lower to the 64 deg max angle and can't be modified to do so. The newer keels came from a different mold. I would like to locate a newer version that matches the drawing in the handbook. I'm in Eastern NC and wouldn't mind a couple hour drive to get one. I have a trailer and can load the keel. Also open to the possibility of buying a cheap boat with a good keel. Any possibilities out there?
