subject:We know the problems: Let's fix'em and sail on!!
As a 21 owner, and class menber coming up on 24 years, being past vice comm. west and past Nat. commadore I've seen some of these issues before, kinda--Now (should have been a long time ago) issues have been brought into the light, and we as a class have a ton of work to do and fast!!
1) the class handbook(which one) is full of issues to say the least that are to blame for whats going on now and need to be fully gone through and rewritten to include new drawing's ( Tim Lynch from Fleet 52 hasn't recived a reply to his offer to help with this) The Exec committe needs the let the rudders that have been made to the drawings, (3 different drawings) be legal and fix the handbook. Randy didn't make an "error in interpreting" the drawings in the class handbook. You got what's in the book!! enough said--
2) The class web page that is "not" needs to be re-born-- with all info and the new hand book there for everyone and anyone. Class officers, past and present, membership list, fleet captians, email address and contact numbers. Event dates and all kinds of things!! Current and up to date.
These are big projects that need to be completed as soon as possible so we can get on with the sailing and racing and growing with a great boat and class. I will help with anything I can to see this issues corrected. So lets get on with it---
