8/30/2007 Im looking for a SJ 21 in race ready condition. I currently own/race a Flying Scot. I would consider a trade for the right boat. Located in North Carolina, but willing to travel for pickup. Thanks.
8/27/2007 SJ21 wanted: I owned a 1973 SJ21 in 1979 and let my new wife (in 1981) talk me into selling it. I've never gotten over her (the boat, not the wife)! I still have the wife, and she's available for trade on the right boat! I'm looking for a nice SJ21 for sale no more than 500 miles from Gainesville, FL. This puts us into TN, SC, NC, AL, MS and of course, FL. Looking for a good boat (with trailer) at a good price, preferably one previously owned by a fanatical owner/sailor that's ready to go to a new home with another fanatical owner/sailor! Shoot me an email if you've got something, or know someone who does. Thanks, and happy sailing to all!

8/25/2007 We're just back on the water after extensive Katrina repairs so new sails are definitely not in the budget, but a used 155 to replace the 130 we're using now just might be a possibility. We're sailing the Lost Bay Regatta on Perdido Bay the fifteenth of next month and a little extra canvas just might give us the edge we need to slap the big boys around a little. If anyone has a used 155 they don't need I'd like to hear from you.

SELL, SWAP:4/21/2008 Hey sailors,
We've finished the dangerous and challenging salvage of the wreck of the mighty "Pasquale" ( a '78 Mk II) here in Ocean Springs, Ms. and we have a few parts left if anybody has needs.
1. Mast (Black anodized) with rigging and two halyards in good used shape with no bends or kinks. Has internal wiring. Spreader light of uncertain function, anchor light on mast was broken during salvage (good salvage help is hard to find). $450
2. Bow pulpit. $75
3. Boom. $75
4. Lazarette cover. $35
Let me know ASAP (especially about the mast) as my wife's enthusiasm over storage of these valuable treasures in our already boat cluttered environment is waning rapidly. Naturally all shipping costs will be borne by the buyer.

11/7/2007 I have been graciously granted salvage rights to a Mk II submerged/floated/resubmerged during Katrina. I have access to any/all fittings and parts most of which I won't need. The boat resides intermittently in 3-5' of water (depending of tide) with a 6' gator living in the next slip and a 10# gar living in the cabin who REALLY gets excited when you touch him unexpectedly (interesting story there, but I digress). Here's a partial list of seemingly serviceable stuff- -Front hatch cover
-Mast
-Boom
-Bow pulpit
-Lazarette coverEmail me if you see (or can think of) anything you need and I'll try to salvage it for you (weather and wildlife permitting) while I'm gleaning for my own needs. There will be a hazardous duty charge for any item to offset the cost of aqualung refills, stitches, and rabies shots or I'd consider trade for some good canvass to replace my Clark '75 originals, (I refuse to concede my poor regatta performance relates in any way to my sailing skill) electronics, sound system, or anything else cool or shiny that goes on a boat.
